The new Clan Wars experience for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was detailed today via the Call of Duty Clan Wars blog and will be anchored by the new and improved Call of Duty companion app for iOS, Android, Windows, and Kindle devices. But unlike traditional clan competitions, Clan Wars allows players of all skill levels to contribute to their clan's standings by simply playing predefined multiplayer modes - regardless of whether they're playing together or solo. As a refresher, Clan Wars is a multiplayer metagame, wherein players band together and form clans to fight for control of key strategic locations on an interactive map within the Call of Duty companion app for a chance to earn exclusive in-game rewards. Clans that place 1st in Diamond Division will unlock the first piece of the prestigious Valkyrie set, with subsequent 1st place Diamond Division wins unlocking more pieces.Based upon tremendous community response, Clan Wars will be back and better than ever with the release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare next month. If your Clan has not yet earned two 1st place Platinum wins, you can still opt into Diamond Division at a later date if and when you do fulfill the requirement.Īlong with Diamond Division comes a whole new set of in-game gear. After your Commander opts-in, your Clan will compete exclusively against other Diamond Division Clans at the highest level of Clan Wars competition.
